The oil terminal in port Vanino (Russia)
Put into use in 1995

The object designed by JSC Lenmorniiproekt is the deepest oil terminal of Russia in the Far East. It is located in the Vanino bay water area.

Total length of the terminal mooring line makes 230 m, depth – 15.5 m, the minimum depths on an approach waterway – 16-17 m. Specified depths provide mooring of tankers with a loading capacity up to 70 thousand tons with a draft up to 14 m.

The mooring is constructed with use of metal mono-covers with a diameter of 15 m and 16 m high that allowed to reduce the cost of its construction by 50% and to reduce work time by twice.
